I am not going to lie, but this squid ink pasta was probably one of the best I have had in Bangkok, Thailand (so far). As a fashion blogger of The Equinox Fashion, now I have also expanded the niche to become the food blogger as well! Doing the food review is like a heaven really. I am not getting paid for this, because I just love eating, and want to share my experience with you. At some points, I might meet the owner(s) or PR of the restaurants, however, my opinions are not bias, nor trying to sell their products. A few weeks ago, I went one of my faves cafe, Vanilla cafe at EmQuartier (or Vanilla Industry) And it was amazing actually, because not only I was chilling out with my friend, but the food was amazing also. If you like garlic, you will love this dish, as much as I did.
งานนี้ต้องบอกเลยว่าพาสต้าหมึกดำจานนี้อร่อยมากหรือจริงๆอาจจะเป็นจานที่แก้วว่าอร่อยที่สุดตั้งแต่แก้วลองทานมาตามร้านในกรุงเทพก็ว่าได้ (ใครมีร้านแนะนำที่ว่าอร่อยกว่าบอกได้เลยนะคะ) ในฐานะที่เป็นแฟชั่นบล็อกเกอร์ไทยคนหนึ่งของ The Equinox Fashion นอกจากเสื้อผ้าหน้าผมแล้วตอนนี้แก้วก็ขยายส่วนของบล็อกไปทำเป็นบล็อกเกอร์อาหารแล้วนะคะเพราะว่าแก้วชอบกิน นั่นแหละเหตุผลหลักๆเลย แก้วไม่ได้รับการจ้างให้ไปกินหรือเขียนลงบล็อกแต่บางทีก็อาจจะมีเจอเจ้าของร้านหรือฝ่ายมาร์เกตติ้งบ้างแต่คอนเฟิร์มได้เลยว่าทุกอย่างที่เขียนไม่มีการขายหรือเชียร์ร้านไหนๆแน่นอน ดังนั้นเมื่ออาทิตย์ก่อนๆแก้วได้ไปลองที่ Vanilla Cafe ที่ EmQuartier มาต้องบอกเลยว่าถ้าใครชอบกระเทียมอาจจะติดใจจานนี้อย่างแน่นอน
TEA ADDICTION IS REAL
It's so weird because I didn't even sip any cups of tea when I was a Manchester based blogger. But now...I tend to order the hot tea every time I go to the cafe or restaurant. I had never realized how good the tea was, but now I know. Tea with dessert, or tea with food, it's all good for me.
If you follow me on Instagram (@thequinoxfashion), You will probably see this beautiful set of tea and donuts at Vanilla Cafe (again) Not only, I was served with the whole tea brewer, which looked like some kind of experiment, but the tea was very refreshing and good for the rush hour lunch break as well. Yet, it's not like I love every tea, because some can possibly taste s*** too. I don't know, there's one tea I always want to stay away, the Chamomile tea is just weird though...
INK SQUID PASTA SERVED WITH PRAWN,GARLIC AND CAVIAR
This was absolutely amazing tbh. The fresh prawn was so flavorful when eating together with the tiny pieces of garlic. Also, I loved the caviar very much. It was the perfect addition of the dish. Look at the color! The contrast of black and pop of orange/red made the food looks like a piece of art.
เอาจริงตอนนี้แก้วติดชานะแบบตอนอยู่อังกฤษไม่ดื่มเลยไงเพราะไม่คิดว่าดื่มแล้วจะต่างยังไงจากดื่มน้ำเปล่า เหมือนกาแฟอะแก้วดื่มยังไงก็หลับอยู่ดีเลยคิดว่าไม่สั่งเลยจะดีกว่า 55 แต่ตอนนี้แบบไปไหนก็สั่งแต่ชา ไปทุกที่ก็สั่งแต่ชาไม่ว่าจะกินชากับขนมหรือชากับอาหารรู้สึกว่ายังไงก็ต้องสั่ง จะบอกว่าชาที่ร้านนี้ดีนะแบบนอกจากจะสดแล้วยังรู้สึกว่าโอเคมากๆกับการที่เค้าเสริฟมาพร้อมกับที่ Brew ซึ่งดูเหมือนขวดทดลองดูเก๋ๆเนอะ พาสต้าจานนี้อร่อยมากค่ะเพราะนอกจากกุ้งจะสดแล้วรสชาติของกระเทียมชิ้นเล็กๆที่กินเข้าไปมันไปช่วยให้กุ้งมีรสชาติเพิ่มขึ้นด้วย จริงๆคาเวียร์ที่ใส่มาก็อร่อยนะเพราะมันจะรู้สึกแบบกรุ๊บๆเวลาเคี้ยวคือจริงๆก็สนุกอะแหล่ะเวลากินแต่ที่สำคัญที่สุดเลยก็คือรสชาติที่พอดีและไม่เลี่ยนค่ะ
