I think it is normal for all of us to feel unmotivated, especially in blogging when we don't know what to write. It happens to me too, sometimes I feel like I really have no interesting ideas, or inspiring things to share on The Equinox Fashion. When blogging is a full time job, it constantly requires a part of our brains to come up with the refreshing contents. If you write about fashion, obviously it is easy to write about the latest trends, trendy shades of each season, or even the celebrity styles. However, my blog is a personal style blog, so writing about such fashion trend is not the theme at all. So, what do I do when I feel uninspired?
Though I tend to publish the posts a few times per week, there always be one of those days when I feel like I just don't want to write anything. Sometimes, I ask myself 'why do I have to engage the audiences in the Instagram everyday?.' It makes me sick. Whenever I feel like that, I just upload a photo (to prove my online presence) and leave my phone somewhere in the room. I totally ignore all the social media's notifications, as well as, this blog. The feelings are similar to when we work at the office literally every day, we sit at our desks, turn on the laptops, and start writing. It goes on and on and on and on and never stop.
But you know what, this is a sign telling me that I need to take a break. In order to come up with the brand new contents, it is important to take a break once in a while. Whenever this happens, I stop involving myself with anything about blogging and social platforms. I need a time to be myself, and that means I download lots of TV series to watch, or just go outside and walk around Manchester. I do not read anyone's blogs or update the fashion news because these activities drive me to nowhere. As I am a full-time fashion blogger now (I have recently completed my Master Degree finally!) I do need to do something else. My life is so much more than just blogging, even though I always say that blogging is my life. I mean, there are so many things going on out there and I need some fun activities to do. By the way, when I take a break from blogging, I mean just a few days.
It is time to recharge the battery within ourselves, and when we are fully charged, all the ideas will absolutely be there!
