Discover Luang Prabang, Loas Part 1

Luang Prabang, Laos

3 nights 4 days in Luang Prabang was one of the trips I will always remember. The easy going lifestyle & friendly smile of Laos people was very impressive. Despite the city has become the tourist spot, especially for French, Korean and Chinese, I think that it is worth a visit if you want to get to know about the 'real' local lifestyle of Laos culture.

Honestly, I think the food's quite pricey (I was shook!) However, it's interesting to see how the city's influenced by French culture (you know the history) And I think the architecture's very 'instagrammable!' So, where to visit in Luang Prabang? Here I have two places to suggest (for this part I!)

This was actually the 1st time for me, as a Thai travel blogger of The Equinox Fashion in Laos, and I loved it! Though the city was small, I liked the simple lifestyle a lot. Plus, I think the way Laos people speaking French was attractive. The city's been well-prepared for French tourist, as I spotted a lot of people could speak the language flawlessly.

Besides, they can speak Thai. E-SANN language, not the central one. Therefore, the communication throughout the trip was very smooth. In fact, I was very surprised that Laos culture's been somehow influenced by Thai commercial as well. When I walked pass, I heard Thai song. When I went to the local restaurant, I saw people watching Thai drama! That's why we are neighbors, right?!

SUNSET & CITY SPOT

At the opposite of Wat Chom Si, you can get a ticket to see the top view of Luang Prabang. Personally, I didn't really prefer to go up there, because there were too many tourists.

By the time I was there, many people walking, talking, and trying to get the right spot just to see the sunset. The view was beautiful, but it was just too loud (for me).

SHOPPING AT STREET MARKET

If you love street market, you defo need to come here. After the long walk up the hill, there's a street market below. From the crepe, to the clothes, I literally enjoyed walking around for hours. Especially, for those who love buying the local gift, this street has a lot to offer!

แก้วได้มีโอกาสไปหลวงพระบางมาประมาณ 3 คืน 4 วันซึ่งก็เป็นอีกหนึ่งทริปที่โอเคมากๆ เลยค่ะ คือถึงแม้ว่าเมืองจะมีนักท่องเที่ยวเยอะโดยเฉพาะคนฝรั่งเศส เกาหลีแล้วก็จีน แต่ว่ายังไงก็น่าไปนะ เพราะว่าบ้านเมืองยังดูโลคอลมากๆ คือถ้าสายชอบถ่ายรูปหรืออยากไปอะไรที่แบบเป็นอารมณ์พื้นเมืองหน่อยๆ ก็ต้องจัด แต่เอาจริงอาหารนี่ไม่ถูกนะยกเว้นว่าถ้าไปกินร้านส้มตำแบบข้างทางๆ จริงๆ เพราะวันแรกที่แก้วไปก็โดนไปเยอะเหมือนกัน แต่ว่าเที่ยวครั้งหนึ่งก็ยอมค่ะ 55 บ้านเมืองตึกแถวสวยมาก คือถ่ายรูปลงไอจีได้เก๋ๆ เลยจริงๆ

อันนี้ก็เป็นทริปแบบครั้งแรกในสไตล์ของบล็อกเกอร์ท่องเที่ยว The Equinox Fashion มันก็จะยุ่งๆ ไม่น้อย 555 แต่ว่าก็สนุกดีค่ะ คือถึงแม้เมืองจะเล็กแต่ว่าความเป็นอยู่แบบเรียบง่ายมันดูมีเสน่ห์ดี คือบอกตรงๆ ว่าไม่คิดว่าคนฝรั่งเศสจะล้นเมืองขนาดนี้แต่ว่าคนที่นี่ก็พูดเฟรนช์ได้ และพูดคล่องกว่าอิ๊งอีก อีกอย่างคนลาวพูดภาษาไทยอีสานค่ะ ดังนั้นไม่จำเป็นต้องสปี๊คอิงลิชเลยเพราะว่าคุยกันได้ง่ายๆ ไม่มีปัญหา จริงๆ แก้วไม่คิดว่าพวกสื่อทีวีหรือเพลงบ้านเราจะมีอิทธิพลในหลวงพระบางมากขนาดนี้ แต่ไม่เชื่อก็ต้องเชื่อว่าเดินผ่านก็ได้ยินคนฟังวงไทย ไปกินส้มตำเค้าก็ดูละครไทยและข่าวไทยนะ

ที่แรกถ้าใครอยากจะไปชมวิวแบบจุดดังๆ ของเมืองนี้ต้องเดินขึ้นไปค่ะ ซื้อตั๋วเดินขึ้นไปข้างบนมีพระไปไหว้ได้ แต่แก้วไม่ค่อยชอบเพราะว่าคนเยอะเกิน เสียงดังเต็มไปหมด

สายช๊อปสายซื้อของฝากเดินลงมาจากชมวิวแล้วก็เดินตลาดกันต่อได้เลยค่ะ ของเยอะ อาหารเยอะ เดินได้ตลอดทั้งคืนเพราะว่าข้างๆ ก็จะมีร้านดริ๊งค์และนักท่องเที่ยวก็จะเยอะมากเช่นกัน คือของที่นี่ก็จะขายอารมณ์แบบเสื้อผ้า ผ้าพันคอ ของใช้ ของเก่า พวงกุญแจของที่ระลึก ของแต่งบ้านมีเยอะจริงๆ แก้วก็เดินไปกินไปเพราะตลอดทางก็จะมีขนมขายค่ะ ไม่ว่าจะเป็นน้ำปั่น เครป ขนมครกแบบบ้านเราก็มีนะ
