I always surprised of how The Equinox Fashion has led me to many unexpected circumstances, as well as, the great opportunity to meet the influential people in the fashion industry. I have worked for Couture Fashion Week with couture designer from Singapore, attended London Fashion Week for three seasons so far, and met the leading fashion bloggers whom I call friends nowadays.
Life surprises us in different ways, however, I always believe that we can absolutely attract whatever we want as long as we have a strong faith in it. Due to the Law of Attraction I have been practicing since I was 17 year-old, The Equinox Fashion wouldn't be this far without it. I wouldn't be right here meeting Diane Von Furstenberg without such amazing teaching from the books I have read.
I think it is a coincidence for a fashion blogger like me to be a part of DvF grand opening at Bangkok, Thailand. Life as a fashion blogger in Manchester is fun, but Bangkok offers something that even more exciting! I am talking about the luxury brand experience which often takes place in Asia. Actually, I had plan to fly back home in May which was the month Diane flew to Thailand as well. What a great opportunity to be there! I remembered writing a lot of posts about DvF back then such as its Spring 2013 collection,and Store visit...oh gosh how young I was when I wrote those articles haha.
Now my dream comes true, the moment when I sat beside Diane. It was surreal and I couldn't even believe it myself. I had a chance to watch DvF runway show without spending money to go to New York Fashion Week. I participated in the grand opening and saw so many beautiful pieces, especially the iconic wrapped dresses in front of my eyes. I had a bit of conversation with Diane as well, even the first question she asked me was "Are you a student?" LOL I guess I still look young eh? She always be my inspiration, the #girlpower and business woman who leads DvF to become one of the leading brand in this fashion industry.
I will never ever gonna forget this moment.
