What to Do at Miyajima (宮島)

Have you ever heard the name of Miyajima (宮島) before? The must visit small island located less than an hour away from Hiroshima. In fact, it is quite a tourist place, even among Japanese people. Personally, I feel like it is great place to chill if you are going with some friends, or a day date with the loved one(s), or even chill out as a family.

EATING IS A MUST AT MIYAJIMA ISLAND

I mean it! If you have a chance to visit the island, you need to eat as much as you can, because there are lots of fresh seafood to try. In my opinion, Japanese seafood at the supermarket is way fresher than in Bangkok, though Bangkok's is better than Manchester's (please don't kill me, I am just sayin' the truth lol) However, I could tell that what I saw at the island was even more attracting. C'mon, grilled seafood in front of your eyes, what more could you ask for?!

ENJOY THE SCENERY

If you want to experience the Japanese' weekend lifestyle, you should visit this place. Not only, you can go to the shrine located at the island, but also the beach, where you will see a lot of people digging the clams (which they put in the Miso soup) I had never seen such scene in Japan before, because I only spent a time in the cities, not a beach like this. So, I was quite pleasing to see the way of living here.

Coming to this trip has given me so much opportunity to see what I had never saw, which I feel very grateful for that.

GRAND TORII GATE

The iconic submerged giant gate, which was built in 12th century is truly the star of the island. Taking some photos? Why not!?

อย่างแรกสุดเลยถ้าใครได้มาเที่ยวที่ฮิโรชิมะไม่ควรพลาดเกาะนี้นะคะ เพราะเดินทางง่ายมากแถมใช้เวลาไม่ถึงหนึ่งชั่วโมง แก้วจำได้ว่าพวกเรานั่งรถไฟมาไม่กี่สถานีแล้วมาต่อเรือเฟอรี่แป๊ปเดียวก็ถึงแล้วค่ะ มีอะไรให้ทำบ้าง? อันดับแรกสุดเลยคือเรื่องกินค่ะ สายกินไม่ควรพลาดเพราะอาหารทะเลที่นี่สดมากกกกก คือถ้าไม่ได้ลองละพลาดนะเพราะเค้ามาปิ้งย่างให้กินกันแบบสดๆ บอกได้เลยว่าลืมคำว่าอาหารทะเลที่ซุปเปอร์ไปได้เลย ร้านขายไอศครีมและร้านขายขนมก็เยอะ ดังนั้นบอกได้เลยว่าฟิน อย่างที่สองคือมาเดินเที่ยวผักผ่อนในสไตล์ครอบครัว เพื่อน หรือมาเดทก็ได้นะ คือจากที่เห็นนักท่องเที่ยวค่อนข้างเยอะ และเป็นคนญี่ปุ่นที่มาเที่ยวเองก็เยอะเช่นเดียวกัน ส่วนใหญ่เค้าก็จะมาเป็นครอบครัว เดินตามเกาะบ้าง ไปขุดหอยบนชายหาดบ้าง ซึ่งก็เป็นภาพที่น่ารักดีเพราะแก้วไม่เคยได้เห็นอะไรแบบนี้สักเท่าไหร่ นี่แหละค่ะความเป็นอยู่ที่สบายๆ สไตล์คนญี่ปุ่น เห็นแล้วมันแบบรู้สึกดีนะ อย่างที่สามคือถ่ายรูปกับเกทค่ะ ถ้ามาแล้วก็ต้องถ่ายนะเพราะว่ามันเหมือนกับเป็นไอคอนนิคของเกาะเลยก็ว่าได้
