Dining Experience at Muteki (むてき)by Mugendai Bangkok

Sunday well spent with Banana& Nutella Cheese Roll, who wouldn't love the combinations of fruits and melted luscious Nutella!? Though, I am not a sweet tooth person, I couldn't resist the dessert menu served by Muteki by Mugendai Bangkok. Being (The Equinox Fashion) Manchester based blogger for a year was 100% work dedication.
Yet, it was very difficult to have a pleasant dining experience like in Asia (NOW I'm back as Thai fashion blogger, so woo hooo!!!). Why? The food is not that variety, so obviously less choices to opt for. If you live in Asia such as Thailand, Japan, Taiwan, or Singapore, you will automatically know what I am talking about. If not, you are cordially invited to have a vacation here.

LIVING IN BANGKOK MEANS FOOD PARADISE

After a photo shoot with Intiz Journal, Bangkok and Australia based fashion blogger, we headed to Muteki by Mugendai in order to pamper ourselves with a delicious Japanese food. I love the fact that my Food Review is now consisting of another Japanese cuisine, since the last time I reviewed the authentic Japanese ramen at Soho, London.  In fact, I have been thinking about going backpacking in Japan for a week, so that I can experience the fashion vibe, as well as, eat as much as I like! (But let's save the money for now..lol) It would be a dream come true for a food lover like me. However, living in Bangkok is like a food heaven too. You can find any types of food along the roads. I mean, everything from Thai, Chinese, Japanese, Indian, popular street food vendors, or posh restaurants, you name it.

MUTEKI BY MUGENDAI'S MENU

So, what did I order? I think we both ordered too much. The main course included Seafood Yaki Udon, Cheese Tonkatsu, and Tuna Fried Rice..I think. Everything was absolutely yummy, no matter how many calories we consumed. My most favourite dish was the Yaki Udon because personally, I have loved eating Yaki Soba since I was a kid. With the additional seafood ingredients, I wouldn't mind finishing the plate. It was quite juicy because of the sauce, however, it was a bit oily as well.

What about the Cheese Tonkatsu? Ooooh I love eating everything Tonkatsu. If you don't know what Tonkatsu is, you will miss the opportunity of deep fried heaven here. Crispy and perfectly coated outside, melted cheese when you give a bite, the heaven is real. The fried rice was alright, but I just didn't like the smell of a fish that much. I love eating Tuna, but sometimes when the smell is too strong, I can't eat it happily. Apart from the Banana& Nutella Cheese Roll, we also had a Carnival Parfait. It is a Hokkaido soft cream (which is so popular among Thai people) served with Nama chocolate.

Do you like Japanese food?
