Why you shouldn't care what others think about you? Because it drives you nuts...Isn't it? As a Thai fashion blogger, I am in the position of being judged/ commented all the time. Why? Because the trend of the social media over here is trying to tell me who I have to be. In order to break into the market here "You have to be the beauty addiction", "You have to lose more weight", "You have to get more attention from the media", "You have to be more feminine, why not wearing a dress?" etc...Guess what, I don't f*** care. They can say whatever, because I have chosen to listen to what I want.
I know it can be frustrating when you overheard the conversation, that involved your name in. I used to care (a lot) and was very sensitive over what people saying about me. Even a friend, who I thought we were BFF, but it wasn't meant to be like that at all...I have come to the conclusion that "At the end of the day, you have got your own back. And this's the truth" You know, even many of my friends do not believe in what I do. They don't understand why I have been blogging for. I get it, it's not the mainstream career choice like a lawyer, or teacher...But I believe that we all can make the choice, which leads to the ultimate goal we have been looking for, right? The Equinox Fashion blog is my blood, life and soul, I will never let anyone look down on what I have built by my own two hands. I am sorry, but my dignity is too high to surrender to those shitty words out off someone's else.
I let those voices in my head, and it fucked me up so badly. I lost my confidence for a while. I didn't have a courage to do what I want. I doubted myself about every decision I made...Do you really think I could continue on living life, or making my dream come true like this? Heck, no! That's why I have decided to move one, and only listen to my "voice" The most important thing in this life is to make the decision, based on the guts inside. You can listen to the comments from others, but never let them influence your life. This is your life, the only life you can make shit happen.
So, don't waste it.
