Cafe hopping is a must if you are a Bangkokian, or simply a traveler who visits this land of smile. When I was Manchester based blogger, nothing was better than hanging around Northern Quarter at the weekend. Not only it was a spot to hang out with friends, while absorb Manchester (strong) accent, but I could also discover lots of delicious food and pastry. Well, nice photos on IG was a plus too! So, if you follow The Equinox Fashion Instagram, you probably notice that I was at Rocket Coffeebar with Singapore food& lifestyle bloggers whom I met for the first time (yes, first time got us #brunch so hard!) Since, I had heard a lot about this place, so food review was absolutely happening.
MODERN INTERIOR, PERFECT FOR EVERY INSTAGRAMMER
If you are an Instagrammer, you probably know what I am talking about. Good-looking hipster cafe is goal, when all you need is a great lifestyle Instagram feed with marble & plants. Before, I'm going in detail about the food, let's take a few moment to see why I think you should instagramming this place, shall we?
As a fashion blogger who loves decorating and pinning the room inspo via Pinterest, I think the interior design of the cafe was spot on. It's very clean, modern, and artsy. Even the logo of their Instagram, which made in a pastel blue looks very pleasing. I know my IG feed is all about urban/grunge vibe like black, white, grey and green, I do have a soft spot for the pastel shades. Anyway, the place was decorated with plants, and the ambiance's very relaxing indeed. You know the fusion of modern art and 'green' stuff always good (for me). In fact, the glasshouse is my dream, so this's the right spot to just chill and work.
As you know, I don't work full-time (well, only 3 days at the office), so I either work from home, or at the cafe...Lucky me, right? However, sometimes I do have a meeting with other clients, so my energy is drained everyday. Especially, my team has been preparing the massive billboard for one of the department stores recently. Besides, I have just got in iStock by Getty Images, hence I have been preparing a s*** load of food photos to sell. So, a chillaxing cafe break once a week can def re-boot my soul.

Though, you might see me rolled at Ultra Japan, watching Martin Garrix and Tiesto on stage, I am an introvert person who just loves to chill at somewhere quiet (you know those days have gone...Think I spent my early 20's completely worth to tell my grandchildren something exciting). Instead of going to the party and screaming the s*** out, home is where I prefer. And the word 'home' doesn't mean the place where I live only. It can be a workspace, coffee shop, or spa. A time for myself is what I need the most. Editing photos and writing the contents with the music on is just PERFECT...In fact, you might just see me with the giant headphones on all the time ( and I might not even hear you calling my name actually) Actually, I am listening to Chillhop Essentials, and writing this article right now...But I'll probably switch to Steve Aoki in 5 minutes.
FYI, I didn't sip any coffee that day, because I didn't feel like it (sober mode, you get me?)...I had a bottle of Beetroot instead. You will either love it, or hate it, because there's no sweetened or sugar added. It was alright for me, because I love drinking everything healthy. However, my friend didn't seem to enjoy it that much lol.
When it comes to brunch, Eggs Benedict has always been my go-to choice. I have tried this dish at many cafes and restaurants. I can also make it (not a pro btw), but it is not as simple as it looks. The perfection of the dish is the egg yolk. So the first thing I did, when I was served, was piercing the knife right through the middle of the eggs. It was an exciting moment actually! Guess what? The yolk was oozing out perfectly, and the Hollandaise sauce was creamy, which I loved it. Moreover, Quail Egg& Truffle was cooked yummm! Yet, the waffle was slightly salty for me. The huge club sandwiches and salad for my friends were delicious as well.
Overall, I did enjoy (our) brunch here. Good food, good company, and great service. The staff was friendly, and I genuinely happy about it. They didn't know who I was, they didn't know I would do the food review on my blog. So, what I experienced was real. I worked as a cooker/waiter before (Hello, Dunkin Donut Chicago haha!) Therefore I always expect the exact service of the staff to be good. I went there as one of the customers, so here is the honest feedback from me.
If you love the food review as much as I do, I promise you that there will be a lot of contents coming! Like I said, more food, more travel in 2017! I am actually excited to tell you about the upcoming travel plan of The Equinox Fashion, which the first country I am visiting is not too far from Thailand :) I am still in the middle of negotiating all the plans with the hotel I am partnering with, so stay tuned!

สำหรับเมนู Egg Benedict จุดเด่นของการทำอาหารจานนี้จะต้องอยู่ที่ไข่แดงเยิ้มๆเวลาเราเอามีดผ่าตรงกลาง ถ้าใครที่ต้มไข่ไว้นานเกินรับรองว่าจากไข่เยิ้มจะกลายเป็นไข่มะตูมแน่นอน ดังนั้นสิ่งแรกที่แก้วทำก่อนกินอาหารจานนี้ก็คือการผ่าค่ะ เอามีดผ่าตรงกลางเพื่อที่จะดูว่าไข่แดงไหลออกมารึเปล่า และสิ่งที่แก้วเห็นตรงหน้าก็คือสิ่งที่แก้วอยากให้มันเป็นซึ่งก็คือไข่แดงเยิ้มๆที่ไหลท่วมซอสบอกเลยว่าอร่อยมาก สำหรับจานที่สองที่เป็นไข่นกกระทาพร้อมทรัฟเฟิลเสริฟพร้อมวาฟเฟิลแก้วว่าก็โอเคนะ ไข่นกกระทาอร่อย เบคอนกรอบใช้ได้เลยแต่แก้วว่าตัววาฟเฟิลอาจจะเค็มไปหน่อย ซึ่งปกติแก้วจะเป็นคนที่ไม่กินอาหารรสชาติเค็มแก้วเลยรู้สึกว่าความเค็มมันกลบรสชาติวัตถุดิบอื่นๆไป
โดยรวมแก้วชอบนะที่นี่เพราะนอกจากจะบรรยากาศดีแล้วการบริการก็ดีพนักงานที่แก้วเจอก็ยิ้มเวลาคุยด้วยซึ่งมันเป็นความรู้สึกที่ดีนะเวลาคนคุยด้วยแล้วยิ้มตอบ สำหรับใครที่อยากไปลองกาแฟหรืออาหารที่คาเฟ่นี้ก็ลองไปด้วยตัวเองได้เลยค่ะตอนนี้เค้าเปิดให้บริการถึง 4 ที่สามารถดูสาขา Rocket Cafe ที่นี่ได้เลย
